About Me
Rachael Richardson is a New York City based actor, singer, writer, and performer. She transcends in roles playing the assertive, know-nothing know it all, businesswoman meets energetic, talkative, younger sister. She aspires to pursue performance just like her inspirations, which include Viola Davis and Keke Palmer. Her journey in performance began with her passion for Shakespeare. She competed in the ESU: National Shakespeare Competition 3 years in a row while attending St. Barnabas High School. Rachael graduated in her senior year of high school being a semi-finalist of the NYC branch of the ESU: National Shakespeare Competition. Her desire for knowledge in the performing arts led her to graduating this year 2024 with a BA in Theater and a minor in Music and Japanese Studies at Lehman College.
Rachael at a young age had a fondness for music and singing as it runs in her family's roots that reside from Belize. She takes pride in embracing her family’s
Belizean culture, incorporating in her life ever since she was a
child. Rachael has pushed her limits acting on the stage at Lehman College performing in lead roles in the NVSPF: Pushed Out, The Amen Corner, When I Get to Where I'm Going. She continues to sharpen her skills as a working actor, writer, and singer on stage and screen. In collaboration with other artists, she's
empowered to be more involved in creative spaces. She also has a strong passion for arts administration and the behind-the scene works of the performing arts. Her long term goal is to one day to start a non-profit
that provides more exposure and programs in the arts for underserved communities. She also in her free time is an avid gamer and takes inspiration from the stories told through the medium of video games.
